My Mach3 Set-up


Before we start it is important that you copy 

ALL THE SCREENSHOTS     

As they are shown. It will take a little time, but it will be worth it in the end

Open your licensed copy of Mach3. You can drag and drop the images below to your home screen and save them for future reference if required.

Go to > config > select native units > select MM or Inches > OK
Mine are set to MM

Go to > config > select ports & pins > port set up > enable 
port 1 > 0x378 > kerel speed > 35000 hz > Apply





Close and restart Mach3

Go to > config > select > motor outputs

Copy this information into Mach3 > Apply









             Go to Input Signals on the top tool bar of that screen and                                          copy into Mach3 > Apply







 Scroll down




        Go to Output Signals on the top tool bar of that screen and                                                copy into Mach3 > Apply







Go to Encoder/MP'S on the top tool bar of that screen and                                                copy into Mach3 > Apply







        Go to Spindle Set-up on the top tool bar of that screen and                                                copy into Mach3 > Apply







Go to Mill Options on the top tool bar of that screen and                                                copy into Mach3 > Apply







Now go to config > save

Go to > config > Motor Tuning. Start with the X axis, copy the information.  then save axis settings. Do the same for Y, Z, and Spindle
then > OK





















Go to > config... Save

Go to > config... General Configuration. Copy these settings into Mach3







Save

Go to > config > Home/Limits  Copy these settings into Mach3

Note: the Z axis has a negative value.

Speed % 40 will give you a homing speed of  F600






Save

Go to > config > Pulley Selection Copy these settings into Mach3
Note. Your max spindle speed may be different from mine






Save

Go to > config > Global Settings Copy these settings into Mach3










Save. Now you're all done for the settings.
